MoneyMatrix has incorporated 25 new payment options into its solutions portfolio so far in 2021, expanding its presence into international gaming jurisdictions to offer its localised payment methods to iGaming operators.

Part of the EveryMatrix group, the iGaming payment gateway and processing platform has made an expansion of its payment solutions and active territoires a core part of its corporate strategy for 2021.

In the first quarter of the year, Malta-based MoneyMatrix has added several new countries into its list of operational territories, including in Latin America, Africa and Europe, covered with the 25 additional payment options.

Samoil Dolejan, CEO of MoneyMatrix, remarked: “Our business approach is clear: to help merchants provide a seamless and exceptional payment experience at each stage of the customer journey.”

“Different countries have different spending trends, spending power, levels of digitalisation and laws and regulations. For the gaming industry, localisation is key and, to maximise conversion, we need to make sure we offer our merchants’ payment options that players are familiar with.”

Notable products include the CashtoCode eVoucher in Latin America and Africa; Pix, a payment method developed in cooperation with the central Bank of Brazil; and VIVA Wallets and Spots, utilised in Greece and Bulgaria as well as other European markets.

MoneyMatrix began 2021 with the launch of its Identity Monitoring Application in early January, aimed at improving risk management procedures for iGaming operators.

This was followed by an agreement with payments industry leader PayPal, significantly enhancing MoneyMatrix’s presence in the iGaming sectors of 14 European Union countries in addition to the UK.
