Payment Expert’s Fintech Unwrapped delivers the latest developing news that has shaped the sector over the course of the last week.
This week, Revolut has signed a new partnership with OpenAI, which will allow its subscription users to access ChatGPT Go for free, enabling greater bill payment and usage flexibility.
Also this week, PayPal launched its buy-now-pay-later services in two Amazon European markets, Ramp announced its launch into Canada, ACI Worldwide and dLocal are connecting the world to Latin American payment methods, and MiFinity is the latest wallet company to embrace BVNK’s stablecoin payment infrastructure.

Revolut customers can now access ChatGPT Go
Revolut is providing its retail customers with access to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go, which it is confident will help enhance bill flexibility.
The subscription service for ChatGPT will now be made available under certain tiers for certain Revolut customers:
- Ultra Revolut members: 12 months free + a 12 month buddy pass
- Metal Revolut members: 12 months free
- Premium, Revolut Pro and Mobile members: Six months free
- Plus and Standard members: Three months free on promotional basis
With ChatGPT Go, Revolut customers gain higher usage limits, more file uploads, document analysis, image generation and memory. This can be used for researching purchases, planning trips, organising everyday tasks or running a business without hitting the limits that are in place across the free tier.

PayPal rolls out its BNPL services to Amazon in Germany and Austria
PayPal will be bringing its buy-now-pay later (BNPL) services to Amazon customers in both Austria and Germany.
PayPal’s instalment-based payments will allow customers in both countries to make fixed monthly payments over three, six, 12 and 24 months on available selected goods and services.
Minimum payments for PayPal’s BNPL starts at €30 and will be capped at €10,000. PayPal Ratenzahlung – PayPal’s Austria and Germany subsidiary entity – will roll out the service to Amazon.de customers alongside its 40 million users.

Ramp’s Canada launch comes with single conversion accounts
Ramp has launched in Canada to offer its range of physical and virtual cards for available businesses to support bill payments and currency conversion.
Companies can manage spend across currencies in a single Ramp account, including cards in Canadian Dollar (CAD) and US Dollar (USD).
Ramp is also opening a new office in Toronto as part of its long-term investment in Canada, where the company is building a local team to support customers across the country.
Jacob Wallenberg, VP of International Expansion at Ramp, said: “Canadian businesses are scaling with increasingly global needs, and finance teams are at the center of managing that.
“Ramp is built for the way Canadian companies actually operate, from CAD and USD cards to local payments and provincial tax coding, so finance teams can move faster, control spend, and operate across currencies without adding more manual work.”

ACI connects LatAm’s most popular payment methods worldwide
ACI Worldwide and dLocal launched a strategic partnership to offer global merchants local Latin America payment methods to connect to emerging markets,
The ACI Payments Orchestration Platform will support dLocal’s expertise of offering payment methods that are accepted in Latin America countries such as Brazil and Mexico, with Chile, Colombia and Peru planned for future rollout.
It means ACI supports the most popular payment methods used by consumers in Brazil (Pix) and Mexico (Mercado Pago), helping merchants reach more customers through the payment instruments entrusted by their customers.

MiFinity seeks stablecoin simplicity for merchants with BVNK
MiFinity has launched PayAnyCoin, a new stablecoin payout service for merchants in partnership with BVNK.
