Card network Visa has launched an initiative for discounted pre-travel COVID-19 tests to their customers in partnership with Collinson.
Cardholders will be able to book a COVID-19 test on the Collinson website at their preferred in-city clinic location. The partnership extends to Visa consumers in the UK, Singapore and a range of Asia-Pacific markets.
Launched under their banner, ‘seamless and secure Covid-19 testing process for Visa cardholders’, Visa will deliver a test certificate with PCR test results in up to 36 hours of results being received in an hour.
Conor Lynch, Head of Consumer Solutions, Asia Pacific at Visa, commented: “With a Visa card, travellers can access a range of benefits, which now includes discounts on pre-departure travel tests; especially important today as the world adapts to new norms of travel.
“Together with Collinson, Visa is keen to make it convenient and hassle-free for travellers to take to the skies again.”
Discount offers for Visa cardholders differ between regions. They are as follows:
- 15% discount on all PCR tests in Singapore
- 10% discount on all PCR tests for the rest of Asia-Pacific countries
- 20% discount on any type of test taken in the UK
