Cardpay announced as inaugural direct member of payment system in Russia

Expanding payment opportunities in Russia, the first pilot transactions with ‘Mir’ cards were conducted with the usage of the Mir Accept 2.0 security protocol.

It comes as Cardpay has outlined ambitions to roll out ’Mir’ card acceptance in e-commerce on all four continents by the end of 2020.

Launched five years ago, the offering has grown significantly and the acceptance of the cards has been achieved in Russia.
