The board of 888 Holdings has announced the inbound appointment of Yariv Dafna as its new Group CFO.
Back in January, Kobrine confirmed that he would end his 15-year tenure as an 888 corporate and governance executive.
The operator detailed that Dafna will join the firm’s executive leadership on 1 November, taking control of the firm’s financial strategy, investment planning and auditing structures.
Dafna joins 888’s leadership team from European telecoms and IT connectivity hardware manufacturer Telit IoT solutions, where he most recently served as Finance Director and President from 2017 to 2020.
Brian Mattingley, Chairman of 888, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Yariv Dafna as 888’s new Chief Financial Officer. Yariv’s experience and drive made him the standout candidate for the role, and we are very pleased he has decided to join the Group at such an important time in 888’s continued growth and development.”
Mattingley and 888 thanked Aviad Kobrine ‘for his significant contribution and achievements over the last 15 years with the Group and we wish him every success for the future’.
888 Holdings has continued to accelerate its regulated market growth strategy under the remit of CEO Itai Pazner. The company expects to declare higher-than-forecast earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for 2020
Itai Pazner, CEO of 888, added: “I am looking forward to working closely with Yariv as we continue to focus on delivering 888’s long-term growth strategy. I would also like to extend my personal gratitude to Aviad for his support and friendship over the years.”
