Volt confirms hiring of former Starling COO 

Australia’s first neobank to receive an unrestricted ADI licence, Volt has unveiled the appointment of Julian Sawyer as an advisor.

He brings with him international banking experience across the UK and Europe as recently-appointed Managing Director (Europe) of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, and as co-founder and former Chief Operating Officer of UK neobank, Starling.

Humphreys appointment strengthens BMLL senior team 

Data engineering and analytics firm BMLL Technologies confirmed the appointment of Paul Humphrey as Chief Executive Officer.

A senior executive with decades of experience in leading positions across the brokerage, banking, data and exchange world, Paul Humphrey joins BMLL Technologies to drive the scale up of the business and realise the firm’s mission to democratise access to granular market data and analytical products at speed and scale.

Planixs elevates collateral capabilities with Applebee appointment 

Planixs, the provider of real time, intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management solutions, has announced that it has appointed Nick Applebee to its Customer Leadership Team and to grow Collateral capabilities.

Darren McKenzie lands new role as MLC Wealth CTO 

MLC Wealth has hired Darren McKenzie as Chief Technology and Operations Officer, effective March 2020.

He joins from RSA Insurance, where he was Chief Operating Officer UK and International for four years.
