As the firm continues to focus on its digital wallet growth, Paysafe has announced the appointment of two new senior executives.

Rachel McShane has been named Paysafe’s new CFO of the group’s digital wallets division, whilst Megan Oxman will be the new SVP of new product development.

Carrying the job title of Barclays’ former head of finance and commercial finance director for transaction banking, McShane is set to bring a 10-year cross-industry experience to Paysafe to help achieve the company’s goals.

Additionally, Oxman’s portfolio includes working for Amazon’s payments team on the launch and operation of multiple new consumer payments products. She’s also a former Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation associate, working together with organisations towards an improved accessibility and use of global financial services.

Chirag Patel, CEO of Paysafe’s digital wallets, himself a new addition appointed in August, commented on the new arrivals: “I’m delighted to welcome Rachel and Megan to our digital wallets team. Their track records speak for themselves, and I believe they both have the talent, experience and commercial acumen to make a huge contribution to our digital wallets business as we double-down on enhancing our offering to customers and being the true payments pioneer in the digital wallets and embedded finance space.”

Paysafe’s current annualised transactional statement stands at US $100 billion, which comes from operating in more than 12 global locations. The company is also looking to expand its’ operations, with the new appointments coinciding with Paysafe’s extension into North America. Just recently, the company has moved into the Louisiana sports betting market, potentially resulting in a US $5.1 billion state market handle according to the American Gaming Association.
