Vice President of Group Marketing Services, Melissa Pauléat, and Director of Operations & Complex Services, Jaredd Galloway, were both recognised as “game-changers” of the payments technology industry.

In addition, Peter Christodoulo, Non-Executive Director on the Paysafe Board, was recognised for his work with Francisco Partners.

Galloway commented: “I am humbled to have been selected by ETA for the Forty Under 40 among so many talented and driven payments professionals.

“The industry has been my passion for almost two decades, and I am committed to making positive contributions for years to come.”

The list is an accumulation of individuals whose actions and leadership are helped drive the industry forward in 2019 and represent payments from start to FinTech.

ETA requested nominations from across the payments industry, seeking talented payments executives under 40 – over 100 nominations were submitted overall.

“The 2019 ETA Forty Under 40 leaders at top firms across the marketplace are driving the entire payments technology industry forward,” said Amy Zirkle, interim CEO of ETA.

“Each honoree has made significant contributions to the payments industry through entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. We are looking forward to honouring them at the upcoming TRANSACT, the world’s largest payments technology event.”

The final group was selected by the ‘2018 Forty Under 40’ class in collaboration with the ETA awards and recognition committee based on the nominees’ impact on the payments industry and their professional character.

Pauléat commended the ETA’s support for diversity and was “honoured” to be one of 17 women to be selected this year.

She said: “I’m excited to join the class of 2019 and to be recognized by ETA, whose committees have been very helpful in perfecting my payments knowledge and for networking with my peers.”

Joel Leonoff, President and CEO of Paysafe Group, stated: “We pride ourselves on being an organization that nurtures talented individuals and fast-tracks their career development. We’re delighted to see ETA recognize two of our leaders.”

The 2019 Forty Under 40 class consists of founders, top executives, policy and risk experts, analysts, lawyers, bankers and investors.

The honorees will be featured in the Spring issue of ETA’s magazine and acknowledged at TRANSACT in Las Vegas.
