Corpay has been confirmed as the official foreign exchange partner of Premier League champions Manchester City.

The partnership will see the cross-border corporate payments brand connect with Manchester City to deliver its range of corporate payments to the club and to its connecting partners.

Kaitlyn Beale, VP of City Football Group Global Partnership Sales, said: “As we continue to grow as a club globally, we do so with a commitment to innovate and improve as a business across our various services.

“As such, we are pleased to welcome Corpay, a market leader in corporate payments that will enhance our services and support our global growth.”

As per the agreement between both parties, Corpay’s cross-border solutions will support Manchester City’s global growth through its automated payment systems and foreign exchange services.

Additionally, Corpay will receive a huge boost to its brand visibility not only being associated with one of football’s most recognisable clubs, but through branding on the club’s digital channels.

Corpay has struck similar deals with sports clubs and organisations in the past. Most recently, the company inked a partnership with World Athletics, whilst continuing to enhance its global brand in notable markets, with a focus on New Zealand as of late.

Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, added: “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, as well as our corporate payments and currency risk management business globally, we are excited to partner with one of the Premier League’s most successful and historic football clubs, and wish them luck in the upcoming season.”
