COCA, the world’s first MPC wallet with a non-custodial debit card, has hired Pavel Matveev, the Founder of Wirex, a leading Web3 money app.

Matveev will join the company as a Strategy and Product Advisor. In this role, he will provide strategic insights and guidance on product development, using his expertise to improve COCA’s offerings in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

His role will involve working closely with COCA’s executive team to identify emerging trends, evaluate market opportunities and fine-tune the firm’s strategic direction.

Under Pavel’s leadership, Wirex reached heights in the digital finance sector, with an extensive network spanning over 130 countries and serving more than six million customers.

Wirex’s Founder is also an advocate for the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. He has authored numerous articles featured in prominent international publications and has been a speaker at various blockchain and payments conferences worldwide.

Commenting on his new role, Matveev said: “I am absolutely delighted to join COCA as a Strategy and Product Advisor. With an astounding 400% month-over-month growth, COCA has rapidly ascended as a leader in the cryptocurrency sector.

“I am looking forward to partnering with the talented team here to propel further innovation and significantly enhance value for our clients.”

Earlier this year, COCA Wallet was introduced in collaboration with Wirex. Leveraging Wirex’s card infrastructure, COCA’s non-custodial debit card aimed to reshape perceptions of security and convenience in the realm of digital finance.

In addition, Wirex has looked to bolster its own crypto offering this year. In January, Wirex announced a partnership with Liquity to integrate its LUSD and LQTY tokens.
