Mangopay has partnered with luxury hotel guest experience management platform Eleanor to launch a tailored payment solution for its hotel and resort clients.

As part of the agreement, Mangopay will provide its embedded payments infrastructure to allow Eleanor’s hotels and resorts to take control of transactions via its platform.

This new innovation will make handling payments secure and more user friendly, while opening up an additional revenue stream for the company.

Darren Caple, CEO and Co-Founder of Eleanor, commented: “Our new integration with Mangopay elevates the Eleanor suite of apps, providing our clients with a frictionless, secure and compliant way of handling payments from within the platform.

“It allows them to provide an improved user experience for both their staff and guests, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Currently, the firm’s platform helps improve operational efficiency by providing a frictionless user experience, through features such as contactless check-in, paying bills, making reservations for restaurants and spa treatments, as well as generating real-time guest feedback for the hotel or resort.

Although London-based, the company supports luxury hotels and resorts in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Zanzibar, Kenya, Thailand, and countries throughout Europe and the Caribbean. One main solution that Mangopay has solved for Eleanor is local processing charges in these regions.

Caple added: “It also solves a fundamental issue for many of our clients in regions where there are local payment processing challenges, while unlocking a potential revenue stream for our business.”

Mangopay has supported over 2,500 platforms and marketplaces through its programmable e-wallet solution and end-to-end payment infrastructure.

Recently, the company helped to transform the car-buying experience, as it partnered with Mobile.de.

Romain Mazeries, CEO of Mangopay, remarked: “Eleanor helps luxury hotels and resorts to offer a world-class service, and we are delighted to support them in applying the same high standards to the payment process for guests, staff and owners.

“Our modular and flexible infrastructure is perfectly suited to support innovative and dynamic businesses in the travel and hospitality industry as they look to scale at speed, while reducing the operational burden of the payments process.”
