HDI Embedded has announced it has been selected by Berlin-based insurtech, wefox, and Italian multi-service Wind Tre, to provide protection for household appliances and electronics.
Leveraging wefox’s distribution platform and service solution, HDI Embedded will provide multi-appliance extended warranty insurance for household devices to Wind Tre customers.
This includes extended insurance covering damages to household applications and consumer electronics, arising from failures or malfunctions after the manufacturer’s warranty expires, with costs from €4.99 per month.

The partnership comes shortly after Wind Tre launched its insurance agency, Wind Tre Assicurazioni, in which wefox was selected as a strategic partner to help select and integrate the best insurers to exclusively create innovative and easy-to-use products for its customers.
The process, enabled by wefox, has allowed Wind Tre to introduce a new offering to better support its customers with insurance solutions. As a result, customers gain greater coverage options.
