AstroPay appoints Sofía Lanza as new Chief Banking Officer

Payment solution provider AstroPay has announced the appointment of Sofía Lanza as its new Chief Banking Officer. 

In her new role, Lanza will be responsible for developing and managing AstroPay’s relationships with global banking and payment service providers, falling in line with the payment firm’s expansion ambitions into new markets. 

Lanza will work closely with partners to ‘ensure better engagement’ and aim to foster innovative solutions that meet the partner’s and AstroPay’s business goals.

In her previous roles, Lanza worked as AstroPay’s Legal Advisor, as well as on the Board of Directors of Cámara Uruguaya de Fintechs. She graduated law school from Universidad de Montevideo with extensive strength in the legal department.
