IT security solutions firm Utimaco has announced the launch of its new Hardware Security Module (HMS), u.trust Anchor.

The ‘next-generation’ platform was awarded NITES certification by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, assuring customers of its security evaluation to be used in highly sensitive national and international environments.

The IT security platform aims to enable businesses to stay ahead of its IT operations along with accelerating digital transformation.

U.trust Anchor is a multi-tenant converged HSM platform that runs unique capabilities concurrently through a number of isolated firmware stacks.

“Utimaco has a long history in applying best practices and industry standards to its products, and pursuing Common Criteria (CC) security certifications demonstrates our commitment towards achieving the highest security standards and compliance requirements,” said Mario Galatovic, Vice President Products and Alliances at Utimaco.

“Deploying the u.trust Anchor platform will ensure that government agencies, financial institutions, as well as entities from other verticals are implementing the most trusted and future-proof solutions into their infrastructure.”

Utimaco’s newest offering will become the first converged platform that enables service providers and enterprises to scale performance, which can function to run multiple applications.

U.Trust Anchor seeks to enhance businesses to scale up and down according to its needs, eliminating the need for businesses to run multiple HSMs that are geographically separated.

Deval Sheth, Managing Director Asia Pacific at Utimaco, added: “We have shown our commitment to the Singaporean standard and are very happy that these certifications confirm both Utimaco’s high standards for product quality and security, as well as Utimaco’s commitment to invest in meeting the requirements of Asian customers, especially in the government sector.”
