Two iGaming-focused payments providers, Paydrom and PayRetailers, have entered a new partnership aimed to improve solutions tailored towards Latin America.

Payments processing is a critical juncture in the relations between betting operators and customers, and speed of payments, particularly withdrawals, can often provide one bookmaker a competitive edge over another.

This has led to many payments firms building up extensive partnerships in the sector. In this, Paydrom will leverage PayRetailers’ localised solutions focusing on Latin America, where the betting industry is growing at a rapid pace.

Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, four of the biggest gaming markets in Latin America, are the core target sectors for the new partnership. The partners aim to leverage PayRetailers’ ‘robust payment infrastructure’ across Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the rest of the region.

“Regional strategies are at the core of our approach to empowering iGaming businesses,” said Arin Andriazian – Chief of Paydrom Product at Paydrom, which is owned by the Digitain sports betting technology company.

“Partnering with PayRetailers allows us to extend our reach into one of the most dynamic regions in the industry. By leveraging their local expertise, we’re ensuring that our clients can offer seamless, culturally relevant payment solutions to players.”

A regional remit

Latin American markets are, as with other regional nations, very diverse when it comes to consumer preferences, including around payment methods. In Brazil, for example, Pix is the payment method of choice – in fact the market goes beyond this as regulations require operators only accept payments via Pix.

The partnership’s main focus is on, as hinted at by Andriazian, on regional and local methods. The two firms aim to meet the demands of local payment options, improve conversion rates and provide regional expertise, the latter from PayRetailers.

Patrick Lemay, Head of Corporate Development at PayRetailers said: “Our partnership with Digitain’s Paydrom is more than a collaboration—it’s a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and shared success. Together, we are redefining payment possibilities and driving growth in the iGaming sector.”
