Digital payment solution OKTO has forged a new partnership with Microgame to integrate its OKTO.WALLET to the Italian market for more seamless and compliant gaming payments.

The online gaming platform provider will enable OKTO.WALLET for its Italian customer base, meeting their needs by offering a secure, convenient and regulatory compliant cash-to-digital payment solution.

Focusing primarily on the Punto Vendita Ricariche (PVR) market, the solution is certified by iTech Labs and Quinel, and is aligned with the standards of Italy’s gaming authority, the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM).

This partnership seeks to empower users to deposit and withdraw cash at PVR top-up points, while the OKTO Visa Card extends accessibility, enabling users to manage their funds in real-time at multiple paypoints.

Dante Micucci, Country Manager for OKTO Italy, commented: “Our collaboration with Microgame addresses the evolving regulatory landscape and the growing demand for frictionless payments at PVR locations. OKTO.WALLET merges the online and offline worlds, offering operators and players unparalleled convenience and security in a rapidly evolving market.

As compliance with payment regulations becomes increasingly vital, being prepared is essential for success in the market. OKTO is here to support gaming operators in navigating the new Italian regulations, and we are confident this collaboration will bring unmatched convenience and enhanced experiences to both operators and players.”

OKTO.WALLET can be used by Microgame’s operating partners and will look to roll out the solution to foster further commitment to complaint payment performance to give players peace of mind when using it.

Additionally, the partnership will feature the OKTO.CASH service, OKTO’s eVoucher solution on Microgame’s platform. The integration expands cash-to-digital payment options for operators.

Marco Castaldo, Microgame CEO, added: “Partnering with OKTO allows us to enhance our services with an advanced payment solution that meets regulatory standards and evolves the overall gaming experience.

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to providing our operator partners and their players with the most advanced and secure tools available in the market.”
