DNA Payments has appointed Preete Janda as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ‘propel’ the company’s strategic growth.
As CFO, Janda will lead the development of a top-tier finance function to drive transformative change and growth within the organisation. She will join DNA’s Executive Committee and offer strategic financial guidance and support to Jan-Pieter Lips, CEO of DNA Payments.
Before taking on this role, Preete, a chartered accountant, established a strong track record in developing effective finance and tax functions and executing strategic financial planning to boost organisational growth.
In a release, DNA Payments believes that her broad experience across technology, payments, e-commerce, retail and media positions her as a perfect fit for the company as it looks to scale its operations.
DNA Payments has noted that it was assisted in the recruitment of Preete Janda by finance recruitment specialist Headstar.
Jan-Pieter Lips, CEO at DNA Payments, commented: “Headstar did an incredible job of identifying top candidates from the very niche payments industry, ensuring we had an outstanding pool of candidates to choose from.
“Preete’s exceptional leadership and strategic financial acumen will be invaluable as we continue to execute our growth plans, which include expanding our product offerings and our market presence both in the UK and internationally.
“Since its inception in 2018, DNA Payments has experienced phenomenal growth and I’m confident that with Preete on board, we will further accelerate our momentum.”
The UK fintech has begun scaling its operations by partnering with major payment providers. Earlier this year, it announced a deal with Alipay+ to expand its point-of-sale options and offer a wider range of cross-border and digital mobile payment solutions.
