Fintech platform Airwallex has announced that its online payments app is now available on Shopify for merchants to use as a payment gateway.
The app is incorporated into the Airwallex payment acceptance solution that includes an array of global payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard, and UnionPay bank cards, as well as region-based methods like GrabPay in Southeast Asia, WeChat Pay in APAC, and Bancontact and Sofort in Europe.
By integrating the plugin, merchants can also receive direct settlements in more than seven major currencies like USD, avoiding conversion fees.
