Fortis gains Oracle Validated Integration Expertise for its retail channels

Payment technology company Fortis has achieved an Oracle Validated Integration Expertise validation for its retail and hospitality channels.

The Oracle Hospitality OPERA and Oracle Retail Xstore affords Fortis the opportunity to implement seamless and secure payment journeys all whilst reducing costs by streamlining administrative processes.

The Oracle Partner Network (OPN) programme helps run Expertise, allowing Oracle partners to highlight key areas of focus and build upon them. Expertise is designed to make the customers life easy, minimising risks and providing solutions tailored for their specific needs.

“Integrating with Oracle Payment Interface allows Fortis to expand what is already an amazing suite of solutions for the hospitality market,” states Greg Cohen, CEO and Chairman of Fortis.

“The team at Oracle has been fantastic and our enhanced integration will allow for even deeper embedded commerce experiences for our hotel, retail and hospitality partners and customers. We look forward to the added value these integrated solutions will provide as well as the extended access to industry-leading solutions through a relationship with Oracle.”

The Oracle Hospitality OPERA’s integration for Fortis services is expected to strengthen the payment firms competition amongst large hotel chains. Plans to achieve this involve creating a standardised experience for merchants and customers.

Fortis’ retailers will be afforded robust functionality to achieve high-level service levels, through the use of Oracle Retail Xstore.

David Hicks, Vice President, Worldwide ISV Cloud Business Development at Oracle, commented: “Achieving Validated Integration Expertise gives our customers the confidence that the integration of Fortis is functionality sound and performs as tested.

“For solutions deployed on premise, in the cloud or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”
