DIMOCO, the Austrian mobile payment and messaging service, has announced a merger of its payment and carrier billing services.
Now operating under the licence ‘DIMOCO Payments GmbH’, the fintech firm is looking to create new opportunities in the payment landscape with its inhouse synergy.
One single contract binds both entities together, connecting merchants to over 100 payment methods. These methods include credit cards and carrier billings which is enabled for advanced ecommerce and mcommerce businesses.
The Austrian firm has been a longstanding Mastercard certified member, becoming an alternative payment method (APM) that finds innovative ways through mobile messaging to process transactions.
DIMOCO allows merchants to process payments for digital and non-digital products with its flexible API. The payment service is accessible to all markets in the European Economic Area (EEA) through its payment service licence from the Austrian Financial Market Authority.
Ulrike Baumgartner and Loukas Louka will remain as Managing Directors of DIMOCO Payments.
