Uber links with Ebanx for instant payments in Brazil

Uber has strengthened its transaction efficiency for consumers in Brazil, through a new collaboration with Ebanx

The partnership allows the firm to accept instant payments in the region as it benefits from the evolving payment tech of startup Ebanx.

At the heart of the partnership is financial inclusion, as the region continues to navigate the coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, it seeks to provide an avenue of engagement for everyone, including those without a card.

The move could significantly enhance the value of Uber’s Brazilian footprint, with the region already making up one of its most fruitful.

Additionally, the firm’s UberEats service is likely to be added in the near future as the group deepens its overall offering in one of its most lucrative markets.
