AltPay partners with ONPEX to enable cross-border trading

UK-based regulated eMoney institution (EMI), AltPay has announced a new partnership with multi-currency IBAN account provider ONPEX

AltPay customers will now be able to access a range of financial services via ONPEX including cross-border SWIFT and European SEPA payments, as well as access to multi-currency IBAN account issuing.

Thus, AltPay’s clientele will be now able to transact and receive cross-border funds in up to 25 currencies globally and this first partnership is part of the firm’s “ambitious growth plans” for 2020.

Artjoms Dozorcevs, founder and CEO of AltPay, explained: “ONPEX was recommended to us by several trusted sources. With its efficient and easy-to-use universal solution, it will be helping us achieve a sustainable organic growth rate, while increasing the quality of the services we provide to our customers.

“Its solutions are cost-efficient and convenient, enabling our customers to trade across the globe, whether it’s within the EEA, Asia, or the USA.”

AltPay will utilise ONPEX’ API-driven modular platform to offer SMEs with alternative solutions to legacy banking and payment services.

Using ONPEX’ pre-existing platform enables the EMI to develop financial services and add any additional ones to its infrastructure.

The EMI targets a range of industries including: airlines, real estate, hospitality, financial institution, startups, auto-dealership, government, online gambling, insurance, hospitals and schools.

Christoph Tutsch, CEO at ONPEX, added: “The partnership has been mutually beneficial. We are confident we can help the company reach its growth plans.

“So far, the integration phase is going smoothly. We aim to generate a higher customer flow for AltPay when ONPEX’ solutions are available to its customer base.”
