Ted joined SBC Media back in 2020 shortly after graduating from the University of Leeds with a Master’s degree in International Journalism, having previously achieved a BA (Hons) from the University of Hull. He has been Editor of Payment Expert since November 2023, reporting and writing features on a range of topics across the fintech and payments landscape.
Callum Williams

Callum is Payment Expert’s Senior Journalist, having joined SBC as a Business Journalist in February 2022. Callum graduated from Salford University in 2021 with a degree in BA Multimedia: Journalism, working on news stories and features on payments, fintech and cryptocurrency.

Kieran joined SBC in January 2024 after graduating from Emerson College, Boston in 2023 with a Masters degree in Journalism. Previously, Kieran has written for several UK publications such as The Sunday World, Female First and The Warrington Guardian. Since joining Payment Expert, he has wrote news stories and features covering all aspects of the payments landscape.
Andrew McCarron
Position: Managing Director
Andrew McCarron started in journalism in 1998. He hasn’t stopped since. After roles at Coinslot International, Coinslot Review & Euroslot Worldwide, he was the first editor of Betting Business when it launched in 2004. Ten years later he joined SBC as MD where he helped launch the Sport Global range of media sites and events.
