Management solution Payhawk will integrate virtual cards via a partnership with American Express to provide greater control for business and corporate card members.

The virtual cards have built-in spend control and are able to help manage global business spending more seamlessly, whilst also being able to grant rewards when using an eligible American Express card through virtual card payments, powered by the American Express Sync Commercial Partner Programme.

Payhawk card members will be able to save multiple days each month on manual accounting tasks through instant expense submissions, along with automatic receipt chasing on the virtual American Express cards.

Greater visibility on billing statements are also ensured, with card members able to see on-demand transactions to reconciliation more efficiently. Card members can also speed up the month-end process by syncing all virtual card transaction data to their ERP in real-time.

Hristo Borisov, CEO of Payhawk, stated: “We are teaming up with American Express to give our customers access to the control, enhanced security, and cash flow management that comes with using an American Express virtual Card, alongside the ability to simplify and automate their finance operations with a single global spend management solution for cards, reimbursable expenses and Accounts Payable (AP), natively integrated to their ERP of choice.

“The integration helps us provide an elevated user experience and more value to our customers.”

Elsewhere, Payhawk has been active in enhancing its brand visibility across the world. The company announced tennis player Grigor Dimitrov as its global ambassador which will see the world number 10 player brandish the Payhawk logo on his apparel during matches, as well as taking part in Payhawk initiatives.
