nCino opens Tokyo office through Japan Cloud partnership

Cloud banking specialists nCino has announced a further expansion of its operations following an agreement with Tokyo-based professional services firm, Japan Cloud.

Following the growth in demand from financial institutions in Japan, the new subsidiary (nCino K.K.) is set to support the digitalisation of banking operations. 

“Japan is the third largest economy in the world1 and there is growing appetite from the leading financial institutions here to modernise their legacy systems amid evolving customer expectations and digital trends,” said Aruna Basnayake, CEO of Japan Cloud.

The firm already possesses a foothold in London, Sydney, Toronto and Salt Lake City in addition to its worldwide headquarters in Wilmington, N.C., U.S.A.

The new offices is expected to support the firm’s growth and present further business opportunities; the firm works with over 250 financial institutions globally.
