Smart cashier software Praxis announced the agreement of a new strategic partnership with iovation, a TransUnion company specialising in device-based fraud detection solutions.

The cashier software firm will utilise iovation’s device intelligence technology so its merchants can access advanced, real-time fraud detection and prevention services through any payment process made via terminal.

The partnership has been developed to provide Praxis’ merchants with the protection needed to fight against fraud and other financial abuse events in real-time.

“We are proud to bring Praxis merchants the best solution for combating affiliate and customer fraud at such a competitive rate,” commented Praxis Cashier founder and director Amit Klatchko

“Praxis merchants will be able to protect their reputation and processing relationships even more.”

Both entities had already worked in collaboration with one another previously as the payment management system previously used iovation’s solutions to enable merchants to fight chargebacks and affiliate fraud.

Praxis’ smart cashier software acts as a single integration acts using a ‘plug-and-play’ process featuring over 140 payment solutions; merchants can select the PSP that they believe matches their needs.

iovation’s technology is expected to “significantly enhance the security of every interaction and transaction” made through its cashier terminal.

This includes data analysis on where any device is located to user behavior, any past incidents of fraud associated with the device plus the partnership enables its merchants to access iovation’s other services such as biometrics identification and automatic device blocking.
