Swedish mobile payment service Zimpler has announced that Rhi Burns will join the company as chief commercial officer heading up the commercial team in Malta.
Burns, formally head of sales at Catena Media, will be primarily responsible to position Zimpler GO as the go-to product for consumers looking for an instant account solution.
CEO and co-founder of Zimpler, Kristofer Ekman Sinclair, said: “Rhi have more than 12 years of experience in iGaming. She has had a focus on sales, client relationships and leadership and is well equipped to take on this new challenge.
“She’ll help spread the word about Zimpler GO and build a strong team of salespeople and account managers that will on-board and look after our clients in the best possible way. With Rhi on site in Malta Zimpler will be in pole position to help our partners improve their business.”
Zimpler Go is an instant account payment solution that allows users sign up and process transactions without needing an account using KYC technology upon making a deposit.
Burns added: “My first focus will be on getting as many new clients in, signed and live as possible. I will utilise my network of friends, clients and colleagues in the industry to bring awareness to Zimpler and our Zimpler GO ‘instant account’ product.
“Being based in Malta will help me ramp up the great work that Zimpler is already doing and build strong, long-lasting relationships.”
The company has received awards from Deloitte Fast 50 for two consecutive years and is under the supervision of Swedish Financial Institution.
