Combating imaging fraud

A year on from its enterprise launch, payments app MuchBetter is “coming to break the igaming payments monopoly,” co-founder Jens Bader states with absolute intent.

Formed in November 2017, MuchBetter has displayed its commercial nouse in the past year securing merchant deals with established igaming incumbents –   Pokerstars, 888.com, Betway, Pinnacle, LeoVegas and Lottoland.

Targeting accelerated growth within the igaming sector this 2019,  Jens Bader believes that MuchBetter can deliver disruptive and game-changing payments products and services, to igaming incumbents in need of new technology disciplines.

“For too long, legacy payments providers have raised costs with each renewal, without a thought to raising the quality of their services.

“With iGaming operators seeking alternatives, there is a fantastic opportunity for MuchBetter to swoop in and meet the needs of iGaming operators.”

Placing innovation at the forefront of its growth strategy, the MuchBetter app uses biometric authentication or pin numbers to secure transactions, in-turn users are not required to remember passwords or security question.

Bader continued: “Our customers use their MuchBetter accounts increasingly outside of igaming as well.

“The combination of the app with our free prepaid card, wearables and free peer-to-peer service demonstrates that our product proposition covers almost any payment situation and is well understood by our customers.

“We have a very solid commercial model that is also viable for us in the long term, and better for operators in the short term too.”

With nearly 150,000 active users worldwide and fully licensed in more than 150 countries, MuchBetter boasts multiple awards including being named Rising Star by EGaming Review Magazine and Innovation of the year at the Payments Awards in November.
