Canadian fintech Nuvei has launched an Omnichannel payment solution tailored for the UK gaming industry.

Nuvei claims its new solution delivers ‘unmatched convenience’ and flexibility for both operators and players. It enables a seamless connection between retail and digital gaming experiences, with features such as unified card tokenisation across online and offline channels and the ability to engage players across all platforms and verticals.

Additionally, the solution aims to enhance the player experience by recognising existing online customers when they interact in-person. This allows operators to implement more personalised loyalty programmes and targeted promotions, strengthening player relationships.

Philip Fayer, Chair and CEO of Nuvei, stated: “Our omnichannel solution is transforming how UK gaming operators interact with their customers. By breaking down the barriers between online and offline experiences, we’re enabling operators to create more personalised and engaging player journeys.

“This launch represents a significant step in our commitment to providing cutting-edge payment solutions that drive growth and enhance user experience in the rapidly evolving gaming market.”

For operators, the solution simplifies operations by consolidating the management of all payment channels into a single API, aiming to streamline processes and lower costs. Although designed with UK operators in mind, it offers potential for global expansion, featuring localised payment methods and compliance capabilities across various regions.

Recognising the growing importance of data in shaping daily decisions, Nuvei has integrated comprehensive analytics into the platform. These analytics provide valuable insights into player behaviour across all channels, empowering operators to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Buzz Bingo, a UK operator that is using Nuvei’s Omnichannel solution, praised the solution, stating that ‘it is a real step ahead from its current retail payment infrastructure’.

Sam Bailey, Head of Product Fraud and Payments at Buzz Bingo, added: “We’re an Omnichannel business and the key benefits of the Omnichannel payments system that Nuvei offers is its diversity as we link our retail environment to our online.

“There’s been a lot of focus on product development here at Buzz, and the key decision with going with Nuvei is their commitment to continue developing their systems and improving their offering.

“Nuvei has allowed us to work together on building their roadmap and we feel like a valued partner as we bring new payment channels and options to our customers. We’re looking forward to working collaboratively to make the most out of both of our businesses.”

Though only three weeks into 2025, Nuvei is already strengthening its ties to the gambling sector. Earlier this month, the fintech announced a partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), a prominent solutions provider for the industry.
