European Open Banking payments platform TrueLayer has announced that its Signup+ product has been responsible for a 30% increase in transaction value across its gaming clients.

Signup+, a live keystone payment solution designed for gaming clients, aims to reduce onboarding time and drop-off rates. The product also looks to help facilitate deposits, play and registrations in under 60 seconds.

TrueLayer is seeking to speed up the overall manual onboarding process that is often hit with friction issues gaming customers experience, with age and identity verification tools in place.

Since its launch, Signup+ has helped gaming companies such as Stakemate and WhiteHat Gaming register new users to be able to perform deposits and play in under 60 seconds.

The TrueLayer product has also halved the drop-off rate of onboarding flows, more than doubling the number of the first time customers. This has led to a 30% increase in average transaction value.

Furthermore, the Signup+ identify verification eliminates the possibility of underage gambling and looks to greatly reduce rates of bonus abuse and card fraud.

Roberto Villani, iGaming lead at TrueLayer, said: “We’re thrilled to see these results from our igaming merchants using Signup+. Reducing customers time-to-play to under 60 seconds, while simultaneously eliminating underage play, and increasing transaction value and customer volume, is a massive win-win for merchants and gamers alike.”
