SaaS payment platform Paddle is bolstering its executive team with new appointments, highlighted by Rob Fletcher as its new Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Emilie Bierschenk has also been hired as VP of Global Demand Generation, along with Rob Konowalchuk as VP of Risk and Compliance.

The new senior appointments follow Paddle’s recent $200m acquisition of subscription software provider ProfitWell, helping to break down barriers for SaaS companies.

The newly appointed CCO has soaked up 20 years of experience in growing software businesses. Fletcher previously worked as ServiceNow working within the company’s Customer Success strategy global plan, as well as leading the firm’s services division across Europe

“The $100bn SaaS revolution has unlocked limitless opportunities to make a better working world for everyone, and there’s never been a greater need for a SaaS-powered digital transformation around the globe,” stated Fletcher.

“It’s the perfect time to join a company at the forefront of SaaS innovation. Paddle has an unparalleled ability to help SaaS companies differentiate themselves and grow in this market, and I fell in love with the team’s mission of empowering software companies by removing the traditional barriers to growth.”

Bierschenk joins from Quantum Metric, where she worked as Senior Director of Revenue Marketing, building the company’s global demand, digital and marketing operations.

Having 20 years of experience, Konowalchuk joins from Revolut, where he worked within the enterprise’s risk management department.

Christian Owens, CEO and Co-Founder of Paddle commented on the new appointments, stating: “As we begin the next stage of our journey and continue our global expansion, we’re delighted to bring onboard Rob as CCO, as well as critical hires Emilie and Rob to bolster our marketing and compliance efforts across the US and UK.”
