CasinoBeats Malta adds poker icon Molly Bloom into the fold

CasinoBeats Malta, which will run a dedicated Payment Expert forum, has announced that American entrepreneur and legendary organiser of high-stakes VIP poker games Molly Bloom will deliver a keynote and host the event’s poker tournament.

Bloom will open the second day of the event (March 26) at the InterContinental Hotel, providing the conference’s inspiring keynote address before joining a panel discussion on poker with other industry experts.

In the evening, Bloom will host Molly’s Malta Game in association with OlyBet, an exclusive 100-seat poker invitational taking place in Casino Malta, the InterContinental’s casino and the island’s biggest gaming venue.

Veiko Krünberg, Managing Director of OlyBet, said: “We’re proud to sponsor a poker tournament hosted by the legendary Molly Bloom in the luxurious setting of our very own Casino Malta.

“Molly’s Malta Game will see the A-list of the gaming industry taking each other on at the poker table, and it’ll be fascinating to see who comes out on top.”

Bloom added: “I am excited to personally share my story of overcoming setbacks with the guests at CasinoBeats Malta. We will spend time together learning about how to become resilient and successful, but also have some fun with Molly’s Game Malta.”

Alongside Bloom’s keynote and poker tournament, leading experts in the payments field will discuss key issues such as 6AMLD, the future of crypto and the impact of the UKGC’s credit card ban during the Payment Expert conference track.

The long list of speakers includes Kindred’s head of payments Mickael Marceau, William Hill’s group director of AML Steven Armstrong, TalentXD’s director Varla Maree Vella and EPOC Risk Management CEO Paul Buck.

All attendees at the Payment Expert forum will be able to look forward to attending Molly’s Malta Game at Casino Malta in the evening, complete with a champagne reception, complimentary food and drink, a live band and plenty of high-level networking opportunities.
