GeoComply has announced it has become a member of US-based online interactive association iDEA Growth.
Founded by Jeff Ifrah and Jeremy Kleinman in 2017, the organisation aims to expand the potential for online gaming and has helped support the development of US sports betting/gaming regulation.
“There is simply no online gaming or sports betting industry in the US without GeoComply and we are extremely pleased to have them as a member,” said Jeff Ifrah, founder of iDEA Growth.
“GeoComply has been involved in many of the initial legislative efforts to create a legal iGaming industry in the US and their experience and expertise will be a huge benefit to our association.”
In addition, Lindsay Slader (VP of regulatory affairs) has been inducted to iDEA Growth’s inaugural Legislative Committee.
The new committee consists of a board members aiming to promote the best legislative efforts on behalf of iDEA members and igaming community.
“We also welcome Lindsay Slader to our Legislative Committee and look forward to the regulatory insight and leadership she’ll provide on both our state and federal level initiatives,” added Ifrah.
GeoComply founder and CEO, David Briggs, said it is “extremely important” to be supporting groups such as iDEA as gaming witnesses “incredible growth” and their emphasis on fact-based policies ensures a “healthy and responsible industry.”
He concluded: “As an iDEA member, we’re pleased that we’ll be able to add our voice to the important issues surrounding iGaming and with Lindsay’s appointment to the Legislative Committee, provide our unique experience and perspective to steer policies that will benefit players, governments, vendors, and operators alike.
