Klarna has introduced flexible payment options for Zoom Workplace, enabling users to access the latter’s premium services with more financial ease.

Through this partnership, customers across 16 countries can now manage their Zoom Workplace subscriptions via Klarna, with the “Pay Now” option available in all countries and “Pay Later” options accessible in the US, Sweden, and Germany.

The 16 launch countries include the US, UK, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Poland.

David Sykes, Chief Commercial Officer at Klarna, commented: “We want Klarna at every checkout, available everywhere, for everything, all the time. By offering flexible payment options with Zoom Workplace, we’re bringing that vision closer, empowering users to access premium collaboration tools without upfront costs and expanding Klarna’s reach across multiple markets.”

Klarna highlighted that this launch broadens both companies’ reach, making collaboration and connectivity more accessible and revealed that additional features and expanded markets are expected in 2025.

This partnership arrives as the global subscription market is expected to hit $1.5trn by 2025. Klarna sees its flexible payment options as essential for businesses transitioning to subscription-based models.

Wendy Bergh, General Manager of Online Business at Zoom, remarked: “We’re excited to team up with Klarna to offer greater financial flexibility to our customers. Removing the burden of upfront costs will allow our customers to focus on what truly matters in their lives or businesses while benefiting from Zoom’s AI-first work platform. This is another example of how Zoom remains committed to meeting customers where they are.”

This year, Klarna has teamed up with several major brands such as Airbnb and Uber, extending its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service to both Uber and Uber Eats platforms.
