Silverflow, a global card processing cloud platform, has named Kardelen Hatun its new VP of Engineering to drive its ongoing growth strategy.
Hatun will oversee the development and management of the company’s engineering platform, including feature development and team organisation, reporting directly to CEO Anne Willm De Vries.
Drawing on her ten years of experience in software engineering, Hatun’s initial focus will be to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring the platform can handle increasing volumes while testing its resilience and scalability. She will use her expertise to strengthen the collaboration between product development and engineering teams.
De Vries commented on Hatun’s arrival, stating: “As part of continuous growth strategy, we’re constantly looking to place the best experience and expertise in the most effective roles, whether that is an outside appointment or hiring up.

After earning a degree in Computing Engineering from Bilkent University in Turkey, Hatun pursued a PhD in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. She then gained experience as a Software Engineer with the Dutch retail brand Bol before joining Silverflow in 2022 as a Software Engineer and Team Lead.
