PayTabs Group has taken its latest step in the MIddle East via a partnership with NuMetric, with the companies to focus on small businesses in the region.
Saudi Arabia’s PayTabs and Jordan’s NuMetric aim to offer an all-in-one accounting technology solution to small businesses in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. Online invoice collection and automation forms the basis of the collaboration.
NuMetric users will be able to access the PayTabs payment orchestration platform via the arrangement, offering its users PayTabs platforms and dashboards to offer what the duo believe will be a “smooth, secure, and effective transaction process”.
Eyad Musharbash, Regional General Manager – Regional Head and Operating Partner Levant Region, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar, said: “This exciting collaboration brings together the potential growth and opportunities and strengthening bond between the two organisations, focusing on enhancing online invoice collection and automation and improving the digital landscape and technologies provided in the Saudi Arabian and Jordanian markets.”
PayTabs and NuMetric believe that demand for the joint service will be bolstered by an increase in the valuation of the global e-invoicing market by £35.9bn by 2028.
The announcement also comes at a time when the Saudi Arabian government seeks to bolster its existing finance, payments and fintech network.
The country has been following a number of financial pursuits lately, including moving forward with Open Banking and development of a regulatory framework for Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services.
In this context, PayTabs has had an active year so far. The firm signed an Open Banking deal with Fintech Galaxy in January, followed by a mobile payments deal with NearPay in February and a national payments integration in March.
