Manchester City and Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is the new brand ambassador for crypto exchange platform Phemex.
Phemex and De Bruyne will look to work on several initiatives such as the Phemex Citizen platform, which aims to elevate awareness of the crypto exchange’s features and help educate new users introduced to crypto.
“My interest in cryptocurrency has been growing for a while now and I am thrilled Phemex asked me to join forces with them,” commented De Bruyne.
“I have been really impressed with Jack and his team and I am really looking forward to support their journey to further develop and explore the future of cryptocurrency.”
Established in 2019, the Singapore-based Phemex has seen over $6 billion in daily trading, serving over 2 million users since its launch.
Phemex states that its mission is to ‘excellent investment opportunities for all’, by building a crypto exchange that looks to eliminate exclusivity.
The crypto platform has seen it rise to the top five crypto derivatives platforms in the world, according to CoinMarketCap. With De Bruyne, one of football’s most recognisable players signing on to be its ambassador, Phemex will look to grow even further through the Manchester City players exposure.
