Utrust launches multi-currency digital asset wallet

Cryptocurrency payment solution provider Utrust has unveiled its multi-currency digital wallet, available immediately.

The Utrust Wallet application enables users to store and transact their digital assets as well as make everyday purchases with Bitcoin, Ethereum or Utrust’s native token – UTK.

Nuno Correia, Founder and CEO of Utrust, said, “We are delighted to launch the highly-anticipated Utrust Wallet which will make it easy for our community of global users to discover and unlock the value of their cryptocurrencies.

“Through this platform, we are bringing our customers closer together with the option for fee-free transactions with any other Utrust wallet in the world. We are also offering the best option when it comes to accepting and paying seamlessly with multiple digital assets online.”

Transactions made via the platform are ‘processed instantly’ and aim to reduce validation times. Utrust already provide a range of digital asset services including instant transactions, buyer protection, and immediate crypto-to-cash settlements.

Users of the wallet will also have access to offers from Utrust’s growing portfolio of partner merchants which include SL Benfica, Alternative Airlines, Phone House Portugal and MoreFrom.

Wallet users will have access to instant online payments via Utrust Pay, zero fees for transactions to other Utrust Wallet holders plus the ability to transact payments globally with no border restrictions.

Moving forward, the firm said it plans to incorporate a ‘wide array of features’ in 2020, including cashback and staking.

Correia concluded: “The ongoing support of the Utrust community ensures that Utrust will continue to grow and transform the money of tomorrow.

“By driving more integration and efficiency across digital wallets, transaction processing and payment acceptance, Utrust is creating meaningful opportunities for merchants and consumers to seamlessly interact using digital assets. The Utrust wallet is another positive step in terms of bringing crypto payments to the mainstream.”
