MYHSM opens new head office with senior addition

Global provider of payment hardware security modules (PHSM) as-a-service, MYHSM, announced the opening of its new head office in Aylesbury.

To introduce the new offices, the company also appointed payments veteran Darren Busby as global head of sales.

Chosen for its “wealth of top tech talent in and around the area,” the new offices will support the company with its growth plans and initially will house its core operations staff.

Busby’s appointment brings over 20 years’ experience in the payments industry across the EMEA region, working with the likes of ACI Worldwide and FIS.

John Cragg, CEO, MYHSM said: “It’s all systems go now we have our base in Aylesbury and an even stronger Senior Leadership Team.

“Darren is a highly regarded payments professional with extensive knowledge of growing companies on a global scale, so aligns perfectly with our vision for MYHSM. On behalf of the entire team at MYHSM we are thrilled to welcome him to the company.”

Prior to joining MYHSM, Darren was the associate vice president & business development director at Compass Plus where he was responsible for the company’s strategic business development in Europe.

Investing in the firm’s infrastructure and staff is expected to reduce expenditure in hardware, secure facilities, management, and ongoing PCI compliance overheads.

Since Thales issued the end of life notice for its payShield 9000, MYHSM has become the first global PHSM company to harness Thales payShield 10k.

MYHSM works with a range of payments firms to simplify operations, reduce costs boost time to market and scalability.

Speaking about his appointment, Busby commented: “I’m excited to be joining MYHSM at such a pivotal time for the business. The company is growing rapidly, with the product already embedded in Thales’s payShield HSMs, and now a Head Office location.

“I look forward to being part of the journey by maximising the successes of the MYHSM offering and in turn growing the business into the global leader within the field.”
