Viva.com supports Italian merchants via Tap to Pay expansion

Viva.com has launched its Tap to Pay on iPhone in Italy, following a series of successful European expansions.

As a result of the move, Italian merchants are able to accept in-person contactless payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone via Viva.com’s Terminal iOS App, which accepts all forms of contactless payments, including contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets.

The company has stated that its Terminal app is suitable for any business, of any size, in any sector, allowing customers to pay onsite or on the move.

This expansion marks Viva.com’s entry into its fourth European market, following successful launches in France, the UK and the Netherlands.

After France embraced the technology last year Viva.com announced new leadership for one of its the country, appointing a new General Manager for the country in Jean-Brice Picardi.
