Fastex, a blockchain and crypto platform operated by Armenian tech firm BetConstruct, has partnered with Yerevan State University.

The duo will focus on promoting blockchain education and supporting community development within Armenia’s Web3 sector.

This will begin with some meetups at Fastex’s NFT Phygital Space in Yerevan, the Armenian capital. The objective of these events is to connect local Web3 communities, enthusiasts and professional developers.

The tech scene in the Caucasian country has been growing significantly, encompassing payments firms, blockchain platforms and betting and gaming solutions developers.

A Fastex statement explained: “This initiative aims to enhance Armenia’s educational landscape in blockchain and virtual assets, contributing to the country’s technological and scientific growth.

“Fastex’s collaboration with Yerevan State University reflects the company’s dedication to fostering innovation and high-quality vocational education in Armenia.”

As the partnership rolls out, Fastex and the University have a number of other initiatives planned, supported by the educational institution’s equipment, facilities and infrastructure.

This includes courses and a Master’s programme on ‘Blockchain and Virtual Assets’, workshops hosted by the company and scholarships
