Multi-currency payment service Currencycloud is teaming up with Future FinTech Labs (FTFT) on a new US-based remittance app designed to make the money transfer journey seamless.
Titled ‘Tempo’, the app was built by both companies to help make cross-border transfers as seamless as possible in selected countries. The Currencycloud multi-currency wallet enables customers to make cost-effective transfers with lower charge fees.
Tempo will help make money transfers secure and cost-effective for US migrants, already available to make transfers in countries such as Canada, Mexico, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, India and more.
Lewis Nurcombe, Vice President Sales of Currencycloud, commented: “Migrants in the US should be able to send money cross-border without friction and without prohibitive costs.
“A fintech like Future FinTech Labs understands the needs of working people wanting to send money to family and friends, and as such is successfully reimagining how money flows for this huge market.”
FTFT’s conversion tool allows users to buy and trade currencies with additional in-app support. Its funds feature also enables customers to add funds to their digital wallets.
The Tempo app has plans to continuously add new features as FTFT aims to build the ‘most innovative, easy-to-use financial product’ for which they deem to be an overlooked market; US immigrants.
“Tempo represents an easy, fast and secure way to transfer money cross-border. Working with Currencycloud and using the breadth of services it allows us to offer our customers a seamless process from start to finish,” added Sean Liu, CEO of FTFT.
“We are confident we will be able to continue to make remittance a seamless process for our end users.”
The Tempo app is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
