Illimity enhances UX offering with viafintech link up

Italian bank illimity has strengthened its UX product offering to its customers by becoming the latest financial institution in the country to enlist the services of viafintech.

As a result of the partnership, customers of illimitybank.com – the illimity Group’s digital direct bank – will be able to deposit funds using the new viafintech feature in their Mobile Banking app, using a  network of over 1000 points of sale throughout Italy.

The new feature will allow consumers to conduct transactions in a ‘simple and fast process,’ generating a barcode directly to the app, which can be scanned at the checkout of viafintech’s retail partners. Transactions will become automatically visible in the customer’s account.

Several major Italian retailers maintain partnerships with viafintech, including supermarket chains Pam Panorama, Pam Local, Penny Market Italy and Carrefour Italy.
