ZenSports broadens payment capacity with Skrill

New industry incumbent ZenSports, a venture seeking to conquer peer-to-peer sports betting has announced that it has integrated Paysafe Group’s Skrill digital wallet provisions, improving its all-around transactional capacities.

ZenSports launched its initial mobile peer-to-peer marketplace in Q4 2018, with the start-up aiming to develop a sports betting platform in which its users can create and accept wagers without ‘the need for a centralised bookmaker’.

Since its launch, the ZenSports marketplace has primarily focused on Cryptocurrency transactions with its players undertaking deposits and withdrawals through Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin options.

Broadening its payment capacity, ZenSports  selects Skrill digital wallet act lead fiat currency payment processing provider for its new betting marketplace.

Mark Thomas, Co-founder & CEO of ZenSports, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Skrill to offer our customers a simple solution for depositing funds into their ZenSports account. When we were looking at different payment providers, it was critical for us to partner with an industry leader for payments in the gaming space, along with a product that was simple to integrate and that provides a clean user experience for our customers.”

Skrill wallet supports over 40 fiat currencies and 18 languages, complimenting ZenSports ‘broad international focus’.

Moving forward, ZenSports’ customers will also benefit from the safety and security of paying using the Skrill digital wallet, which is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill at Paysafe, said: “We’re excited to partner with ZenSports to diversify the brand’s payments offering. The concept of peer-to-peer sports-betting is highly innovative, and we’re confident that ZenSports will enjoy strong growth with the support of our Skrill digital wallet and our long heritage in the sports-betting space.”
