Matthew has a degree in journalism, specialising in sport, and has recently completed a Master’s in international journalism. Originally from Gibraltar, Matthew moved to the UK in 2015 and has experience with the Liverpool Echo and Capital FM, where he was a Premier League match reporter for the Merseyside area. As an avid Liverpool fan, Matthew also helped startup The Kopite, an LFC-fan-site, in which he holds the role of editor, senior writer and podcast host. He also supports Athletic Bilbao, is fluent in Spanish and joined SBC as a journalist in July 2019
