Mambu and its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Mark Geneste are aiming to ‘transform banking technology’ as he was appointed to his new position this week.

In his role as CRO, Geneste will lead Mambu’s commercial team to drive growth and strengthen the company’s position in various markets, as well as enhancing its reputation as a banking tech leader.

“Mark understands the imperative of bringing financial services technology into the digital-first world, where legacy technology is currently hindering progress. Geneste brings experience in sales leadership in the software industry, having held senior positions at Wolters KluwerEnablon, FactSet, Kempen Capital Management, Dun & Bradstreet, and Thomson Reuters. Prior to joining Mambu, Geneste was the CCO at engagement banking platform Backbase

Geneste commented on his new role: “Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how technology can revolutionise industries, especially in banking and financial services where taking the traditional route can be the biggest risk.

“In my discussions with the team, it’s clear that Mambu is committed to transforming banking technology and leading the industry forward, and I am eager to get started.”

The appointment comes as Mambu announced a number of new customers, including C24, enabling the German company to build out financial infrastructures through Mambu’s Software-as-a-System solutions.
