Software point-of-sale (SoftPOS) developer Phos have partnered with cloud platform Silverflow to enable businesses to accept “best-in-class” contactless payments.

With a specific focus on helping businesses leverage contactless payment solutions for mobile devices, Phos will combine its SoftPOS technology with Silverflow’s payment processing platform to achieve this.

By connecting respective payment solutions, both entities seek to offer a ready-to-deploy solution for banks, payment service providers, acquirers and independent sales organisations.

Brad Hyett, CEO of Phos, stated: “Partnering with Silverflow positions us to deliver an exceptional SoftPoS solution to the market. Their cutting-edge technology and commitment perfectly align with our vision.

“We’re excited to empower businesses with a faster, more seamless way to accept payments.”

The integrated solution will look to significantly reduce the implementation time of contactless payments, enabling clients to launch their own SoftPOS offerings at a more efficient and quicker rate.

Silverflow’s advanced processing capabilities aim to complement Phos’ front-end components, including the payment app, terminal management system, and merchant portal, empowering businesses for a user-friendly experience.

The collaboration also expands the reach of the improved payment solutions across Europe by tapping into Silverflow’s presence in the e-commerce sector, including shopping platforms, large retailers and payment service providers (PSPs).

Anne Willem de Vries, CEO and Co-Founder of Silverflow, added: “This partnership marks a significant step forward for our business. By combining our expertise with Phos, we’re providing a comprehensive and ready-to-deploy solution that streamlines the go-to-market process for our clients.

“We’re confident that this collaboration will unlock tremendous growth opportunities within the omnichannel payments landscape.”
